Purpose of data processing

The information in the register is used to handle orders, credit management, invoicing, collection, contacts, transactions, service development, reporting, marketing and other situations related to purchasing transactions. The purchase and order information and address information in the register can also be used for profiling and targeting offers, benefits and other marketing and communication so that the marketing content is more interesting. Personal data can also be used to send newsletters and offers and to participate in raffles. In addition, the information in the register can be used for statistical purposes and can be analyzed. All e-mails sent to our company addresses are stored on servers within the European Union.

All paper documents containing customer data are kept in a locked state and are destroyed by shredding as soon as they are no longer needed, normally after two years at the latest.

We are committed to using only partners for electronic data processing who are committed to complying with the EU Data Protection Regulation and other regulations in force in Finland regarding data processing.

Data retention period

We only retain personal data for as long as it is needed to manage the customer relationship. Normally, we consider the customer relationship to have ended three years after the last order, after which the data is anonymized, i.e. all personal information is removed. Right to inspection, correction and prohibition

The customer has the right to check what information about him or her has been stored in the register. The inspection request must be sent in writing and signed to the controller. In connection with the inspection request, the customer may be required to reliably verify his or her identity. The request for inspection of the data will be responded to in writing within a reasonable time.

If there are errors in the register, the customer can submit a request for the error to be corrected. Normally, the customer can update their contact information themselves, for example by logging into our online store and updating their account information.

The customer has the right to prohibit the use of their information for marketing by notifying the data controller. Despite this prohibition, the information may be used to contact you if an error is detected in the product purchased by the customer or if contacting you is necessary for processing the order.
